MMTV was started in 1990 by Advisor Paul Kakley and Curtis Challenger, an incoming freshman that year. The two of them along with 4 other students created the first
High School Television program for Monument Mountain Regional H.S.
The program was called TWMM (This Week at Monument Mountain) and aired tape delay on Wednesday evenings at 7:00.
In 1994 the program went live from the CTSB studios in Lee after a short time presenting live from the Communications room at the high school.
The program has produced students that have gone on to careers in the field at very prominent companies such as ESPN.
Every year MMTV students host the South County portion of the Cerebral Palsy Telethon. MMTV is now the longest running uninterrupted program produced at the CTSB facility.
